These terms govern your use of this website and of the APEX assessment. By using the site or completing an assessment, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
We provide research-grounded advisory services for executives, founders, and boards, including the APEX assessment and private debrief sessions. Assessment access is by invitation: you need an access code issued by us.
APEX measures normal-range personality traits for developmental and advisory purposes. It is not a clinical or diagnostic instrument, it does not screen for any medical or psychological condition, and it is not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
Results are not intended to be used to make hiring, promotion, termination, or other employment decisions, and you agree not to use them for that purpose. If you are considering any such use, take your own legal advice first — different rules may apply to you.
Access codes are issued to a named individual for a single engagement. Do not share your code. We may revoke a code at any time, and we monitor for misuse.
You agree to provide accurate information, to answer assessment items honestly, and to complete the assessment yourself rather than delegating it. Results computed from inaccurate or careless responses are not meaningful, and we cannot be responsible for conclusions drawn from them.
Fees depend on the scope of the engagement and are agreed in advance. Payment terms, cancellation, and rescheduling are set out in your individual engagement agreement, which takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.
The content of this site, the APEX battery as assembled and normed, and any report we prepare for you are our intellectual property. Your report is provided for your own use; you may share it at your discretion, but you may not resell it or present our materials as your own.
APEX is built on public-domain instruments from the International Personality Item Pool. The Hogan Development Survey is administered separately under licence. Hogan Development Survey and HDS are trademarks of Hogan Assessment Systems, Inc.
We treat your responses and the content of advisory sessions as confidential and handle them as described in our Privacy Policy. We will not disclose them to your employer, your board, or any third party unless you instruct us in writing, or unless we are required to by law.
The service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any decision you or anyone else takes on the basis of an assessment result. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
